The tomato clownfish is a small, stocky damselfish found in coral reef environments across the Indo-Pacific. Adults reach around 10 cm and display a distinctive bright red or orange body with a single white stripe behind the head and white markings on the fins. Like other clownfish, it forms a close partnership with host anemones, sheltering among their tentacles in exchange for protection from predators and parasites.
