The Silver Trevally is a streamlined jack with silver-grey flanks and a darker back, often seen cruising in small schools along rocky reefs and open water. These fish are swift hunters, prowling deeper temperate waters from around 20 to 200 metres. They pursue smaller fish and squid with quick bursts of speed, making them engaging to observe when they pass through the blue.
