Sandager's Wrasse is a small, colourful wrasse found on coral and rocky reefs across the Indo-Pacific. It typically stays close to shelter, darting between corals and crevices where it hunts small invertebrates. Males are more brightly patterned than females, with blues and oranges marking the head and body. Like other wrasses, it is an active daytime feeder and often seen singly or in pairs rather than in schools.
